Linda Wagner was born in Sydney BC and raised in the Comox Valley. She transitioned from a nursing career to study art at Capilano College from 1970 to 1972. She has painted with watercolour and oils in BC for over 40 years, participating in numerous solo shows and group exhibitions in BC and Alberta. Wagner‘s travels for painting seminars have taken her to Mexico, China, Italy, France, Greece, and Israel. Her works are part of public and private collections across Canada.  An avid mariner she draws inspiration from sketches and memories of annual sailing trips in BC’s coastal Waters, focussing on colour gradations strong contrast, bright colours and reflected light. At 82 Wagner states I will paint as long as I am able and still have the passion for it. I have always enjoyed the journey.
